Cybersecurity Analyst

Job Description

The Cybersecurity Analyst helps protect organizational systems, applications, networks, and data from cyber threats and security incidents. The role involves monitoring security environments, analyzing alerts, investigating suspicious activities, and supporting incident response. The analyst works with security engineering, infrastructure, application, and compliance teams to strengthen the organization’s security posture. The position also contributes to vulnerability management, threat analysis, security assessments, and continuous improvement of cybersecurity controls.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor security events, alerts, logs, and incidents across enterprise environments.
Investigate suspicious activities and potential security breaches.
Analyze security alerts using SIEM, endpoint, network, and threat intelligence tools.
Support incident detection, investigation, containment, and remediation activities.
Perform vulnerability assessments and track remediation of identified weaknesses.
Assist with security risk assessments and control effectiveness reviews.
Analyze threat intelligence and identify emerging cybersecurity risks.
Maintain incident records, investigation reports, and security documentation.
Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to implement security controls.
Support security awareness, compliance, audit, and cybersecurity improvement initiatives.
