Job Description

The Senior Cybersecurity Incident Response Analyst is responsible for detecting, investigating, and responding to cybersecurity incidents affecting Barclays India’s technology infrastructure. The role works closely with global security operations teams to minimize business risks and maintain regulatory compliance. The analyst performs forensic investigations, threat analysis, and incident containment activities. This position also contributes to strengthening the organization’s cyber defense strategy through continuous security improvements.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor security alerts using SIEM and threat detection platforms.
Investigate cybersecurity incidents and perform root cause analysis.
Coordinate incident containment, eradication, and recovery activities.
Conduct digital forensic investigations and preserve evidence.
Develop incident response playbooks and documentation.
Collaborate with global cybersecurity, IT, and risk management teams.
Identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation measures.
Prepare incident reports and support regulatory compliance requirements.
