Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description

The Quality Assurance Engineer ensures that aerospace manufacturing and production activities meet established quality, regulatory, and customer requirements. The role involves monitoring quality systems, investigating non-conformities, and supporting corrective and preventive actions. The engineer works with production and engineering teams to prevent defects and improve product reliability. Strong attention to aerospace standards, documentation, traceability, and continuous improvement is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor manufacturing activities to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
Conduct inspections, audits, and quality reviews throughout production processes.
Investigate product and process non-conformities and identify root causes.
Develop and monitor corrective and preventive action plans.
Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and compliance documentation.
Support implementation and maintenance of aerospace quality management systems.
Work with production teams to reduce defects, rework, and customer complaints.
Participate in internal, supplier, and external quality audits.
Analyze quality data and develop performance improvement actions.
Ensure products and processes comply with applicable aerospace regulations and standards.
