Job Description

Job Overview:

 

  • Responsible for developing and implementing strategies for recruitment and development of UAE nationals within the organization, including sourcing, recruiting and retaining Emirati talents.
  • Assist in organizing Emiratization campaigns and events to achieve the organization’s Emiratization targets.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of Emiratization efforts and ensure compliance with Emiratization policies, laws and regulations.

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

Roles and Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and execute the Emiratization plan that aligns with the organization’s Emiratization objectives.
  • Liaise with the Ministry of Human Resource & Emiratization (MoHRE) on all matters relating to Emiratization.
  • Stay updated on changes in the Emiratization policies, regulations & industry best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Stay abreast of latest developments in the labour market and apply insights to enhance the organization advantage.
  • Establish and maintain constant communication and collaboration with Group HR – Emiratization Department.
  • Attend all relevant meetings & trainings sessions and exchange vital information on Emiratization and actively engage in discussions with all stakeholders to support employee retention efforts.
  • Collaborate with various departments to evaluate the workforce needs and identify requirements for Emirati talents.
  • Engage in events/activities to attract Emirati job seekers, including participation in career fairs, fostering partnership with educational institutions and promote opportunities for Emiratis.
  • Manage the recruitment process including screening and shortlisting potential candidates for available positions.
  • Support the Emirati candidates throughout the recruitment process, including facilitating the submission of relevant documents, coordinating interview sessions, and overseeing the onboarding procedure.
  • Monitor the progress of Emiratis within the organization, offer mentorship and guidance to enhance their skills and career development.
  • Work closely with the Learning & Development team to design and deliver specialized training programs tailored to Emirati employees.
  • Conduct periodic workforce analysis to identify gaps and areas for enhancement in Emiratization initiatives.
  • Generate periodic reports on Emiratization advancements, including detailed data analysis, trend analysis, and recommendation for continuous enhancement.

 

Qualification & Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Solid understanding of the Emiratization policies, regulations, and procedures.
  • Familiar with the Tawteen system and its reporting requirements.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in Arabic.
  • Very good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Very good interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Good problem-solving abilities.
  • Very good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Highly computer literate with capability in using MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of the HRIS systems and recruitment tools is an advantage.
