● Ensure that the fabrication and welding is carried out as per approved drawing, Project specification. ● Co-ordination with Client & construction crew to carry out final inspection and documentation. ● Review and accept the quality documents inspection reports NDT records. ● Conducting and witnessing of hydro test and pneumatic test. ● Inspection of Materials and Welding Electrodes and ensuring that the requirements are met as per Applicable codes and specifications. ● Ensuring that the welding equipment’s and machines are in proper condition and calibrated. ● Checking whether the welding is done as per applicable WPS and that the qualifications of the welders are valid. ● Monitoring the fit up and production welding and noting down the parameters and ensuring that the welding is done as per the WPS parameters. ● To conduct procedure (WPS) and performance (WPQ) qualifications as per the codes and specifications. ● Visual inspection of the welds and review NDT (RT, MPT, PT). ● Verify NDT is carried out in accordance with approved project procedures and specifications. To recommend and analyze the weld repairs as per the applicable specifications. To make proper records of the various stages of welding and inspection and maintain the documents as per the quality management system for proper traceability. ● Monitoring the site installation process and ensuring that they are done as per the engineering drawings. ● Ensuring the effective implementation of QC requirements as detailed in the applicable Inspection and Test Plans (ITP). ● Review/Monitoring with approved drawings, line checking the finished packages and supporting the package review team. ● Test package identification, review, verification and test witnessing. ● Monitoring the cut and modification joints and piping circuit. ● Confirm the piping system with P&ID to verify completeness of system. ● Updating the weld map as per in field condition and approaching the engineering for revision the isometric wherever need. Attending regular progress review meeting with client. ● Participate in all site & project HSE activities including daily tool box talk, safety down & safety meeting. ● Done complete installation of line instruments and fittings of piping system including valves, orifice, equipment items etc. ● Good knowledge in conducting and supervising Hydro test and pneumatic test for piping system ● Attending and closing of Complete Mechanical and NDT Punch/Check lists prior to hydro test.
