Principal Responsibilities: ➢ Prepare Permit to work Application and insure all the maintenance activities should carry out as permit to work procedures. ➢ Monitor, log, record and report the status of process & rotary units and flag any deviation from normal operating envelops for further analysis and investigation. ➢ Operation of High sour facility ( High H2S) in safe manner ➢ Gas processing plant-Knock out drum, Glycol dehydration unit. ➢ Operate and monitor plant parameters through Windows NT Server based Emerson Process Management system (EMERSON-DCS DELTA V) and stay vigilant to observe any abnormalities / malfunction and take immediate measures to rectify the problem independently and as a team to minimize the production losses. ➢ Well-versed with Honeywell Esperion & DCS YOKOGAWA Centum-VP with the operating system Windows NT Application for plant operations and Allen Bradley PLC for High pressure Gas Injection Compressors, Export Gas Compressors . ➢ Coordination via effective communication with field operator during various plant activities for smooth running of plant. ➢ Monitor, maintain and ensure that all Process parameters in different process systems are within the operational requirements and Design capabilities to maximize production/quality- making adjustment where necessary. Actively implements the concepts of total quality improvement. Monitoring wells through field ware system and place corrective steps if any abnormality occurs. ➢ Investigate causes of failure in emergencies and acts promptly to rectify the same. Maintains safety of the equipment and takes corrective action in case of abnormalities. Coordinate during the Pigging operation. ➢ Well Head Operation: Well Opening, Well Closing, Flow Line Chock Changing and Adjusting, FTHP, STHP, Well head Sample Collection, Casing Depressurizing, Primary and Secondary Seal Testing, Annuls Pressure Bleeding, Well Head Control Panel Operation, Well Equalizing, SSV, SSSV Operation, Master Valve, Crown Valve, Wing Valve Operation, Inspection and Operation of Christmas Tree Valve and Flow lines, Isolation & Hand Over Wells to Well Services and Well testing operations with 2 & 3 phase separator. Well flow line diverting to check quality of oil through multi phase flow meter also handling of analyzer ➢ Observe and trouble shooting of any unusual occurrences without affecting process operations. ➢ Fully conversant with all aspects of Control Room functions including ESD panels, fire and gas panels, UV detector, cause and effects charts, general computer data recovery and inputting information for reports. Proper maintaining of daily log records and DCS Recordings for all running equipments. Ensure accurate and timely production reporting and logging is submitted daily, monthly and yearly as required by company ➢ Field consists of free flowing oil and gas wells, OFT wells; Gas lifting and injection wells, water injection wells, Auto lift wells, ESP pump operations. ➢ Well head operation, remote well maintenance and well testing by three phase separator & Haimo. ➢ Experience in all Surface Production Operations and Facilities i.e. well fluid gathering, gas/oil separation, crude oil dehydration, stabilization, storage, loading and all gas handling/processing operations and facilities like; gas compression, dehydration ➢ Hands on experience in operations of offshore field production equipment. ➢ Oil flushing, chemical cleaning of Pipe lines.( Onshore & OFF shore), Pigging ➢ Hydro testing (FPSO conversion ship. LEAK Testing. ➢ Faced different Troubleshooting with different types of equipments of different manufacturers. ➢ Compressors, Pumps and Blowers: ➢ With different types (Centrifugal (BORSIG-BABCOCK) and reciprocating with single and multistage) ➢ With different drives (Motor and Steam Turbine) ➢ With different Seals (Dry gas and Hydraulic) ➢ With different Manufacturers (BORSIG-BABCOCK, Dresser Rand, Siemens, MAN Turbo GHH). ➢ Furnaces: ➢ Worked with bottom fired furnaces ➢ Worked with Natural Draught and Balanced Draught Furnaces ➢ Worked with liquid fuel, Gas Fuel Burners. ➢ Well Operation: ➢ ESP wells, Gas Lift Wells, Free Flow Wells, Water Kingswells, and Water Disposal. ➢ Tanks: ➢ Full containment perlite insulated tanks for LNG storage. ➢ Floating roof storage tanks for Naphtha storage. ➢ Fix roof tanks. Point of origin: Thiruvananthapuram International airport Availability: Immediately ➢ Unloading arms: ➢ FMC, France make liquid and Gas unloading arms, connection and disconnection from ship manifold. ➢ Monitoring of equipments, Parameters and conditions. ➢ Well testing and well commissioning and well closing as required. ➢ Gas lift, gas injection and water injection optimization. ➢ Stabilizing the plant during emergencies & Troubleshooting. ➢ Safe Start ups and Shut downs of the plant (DCS/Field). ➢ Carry out integrity checklist for Christmas tree, flow line & maintain record of annulus pressure. ➢ Carry out well testing as per schedule & maintain record. ➢ Achievement of Zero Flaring through Evaluation and necessary rectification activities during the Trouble-shooting or Emergency situations. Routine inspection of facilities and equipment to ensure efficient operation and safe conditions. ➢ Handover of charge via operation critical handover form & effective communication. ➢ Maintaining safety by managing the fire fighting until incident controller and Fire brigade enter the effected area. ➢ SHE activities like periodical site inspection, necessary safety measures, attending & actively participating in safety meeting. ➢ Maintaining Housekeeping in the work area. ➢ Check & maintain LO/LC register. ➢ Carry out station inspection, Equipment checklist & Evacuation drill. ➢ Maintain record of override register, station entry register, chemical stock, chemical injection rate, escape hood & BA set. ➢ Coordination with well service department like Rig, Hoist, CTU & Wire line operation. ➢ ICV (Intelligent control valve) operations for auto gas lift well. ➢ On-job training to the trainees assigned to me. ➢ Reporting the process deviations in Field problems to the Manager/In charge. ➢ Responding to the reports given by Lab, Inspection, immediately. ➢ Carrying out duties assigned to me by the Manager/In charge. ➢ Following ISO-9001, ISO-14001 AND ISO-18001 procedures and maintaining the process without ➢ Deviations to maximum extent. ➢ Familiar with the normal and emergency shutdown procedures and commissioning activity such as line blowing, purging, control valve stroke checking ,understand cause & effect chart, PFD& PID ➢ Familiar with commissioning and handing over of various plant equipment like column, pump, compressor, vessel, furnace to engineering dept. ➢ Observing safety during maintenance jobs ➢ Handling of chemicals with proper safety equipment. ➢ Periodical practicing of Mock Drills. ➢ Periodical practice of wearing Ammonia Suit, SCBA, Chlorine kit fixation during chlorine leak. ➢ Deluge & sprinkler system, Monitors hydrants. ➢ Fire extinguishers like Foam, Dcp, and Co2.
