I am an Electrical Engineer having five years of extensive work experience. Previously, I was responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of signaling and ERTMS L-II equipment. It includes installation, Testing Commissioning, and necessary repairing or replacement on the Haramain High-Speed Railway project.
Additionally, my specialty is medium voltage, low voltage, and extra-low voltage engineering with a keen knowledge of high current and low current engineering, substation, and electrical assemblies such as circuit breakers, switchgear, transformers, ring main unit, UPS, motors, generators, solar systems, and power cable engineering. I have expert-level knowledge related to building construction and infrastructure projects with a reputed company in Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.

• Ensures that system design, interface, and processes are coordinated and functioning effectively as per requirements. • Responsibility to enable operators to regulate the movement of trains on the network with minimum conflict or delay. • Carrying out real-time troubleshooting of faults on System software, technical buildings & trackside. • Daily Monitoring Moviolaw 2.0, for interlocking and ERTMS/ETCS L2 for failures and alarms. • Conducts technical investigation review of emergency operational incidents via RBC including logs extractions, resetting of RBC by DAQ NAVI software, and Checking the status of Lanes, Patch Panel, TCC, and PC debug. • Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of signaling equipment which includes trackside signals, point machines (L826H), Axle counters (Thales ZP 30H), Track circuits, Connection boxes, and Eurobalise programming through TPG. It includes installation, Testing and Commissioning, adjustments, and necessary repairing or replacement of the faulty component. • Responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of the following cubicles: • ACE (Axle Counter Evaluator), GDI, Westrace 2.0 cubicles, RBC (Radio Block Centre), PDC (Power Distribution Cubicle), Cable Rack, Auxiliary Cubicle, and Communication Cubicle. • Responsible for the PM & CM of BOCC (Backup Operating Control Center) CTC and CEC Server which includes: CFE (Communication Front End), GIS (Graphic Interface Server), EIS (External interface server) & IIS (Internal interface Server), MAS-C (MAS centralized), KVM (Black box), and videographer wall. • Coordinate with the Client regarding incident resolution and proposed actions. • Preparing daily work reports, Incidence reports, preventive reports, and maintaining records (Checklists) of all activities. • Inventory and spare management to ensure all materials are correctly booked out of the stores and any materials being returned to the Quarantine for repair are correctly labeled. • Attend several joint inspections with the Saudi Railways Authority (SAR) monthly basis on trackside and technical buildings. • Keep track of daily tools calibration and perform monthly color coding. • Adhere to all safety measures recommended by HHR Line.
• Planning of preventive maintenance as per shutdown schedule, monitoring, and interpretation of corrective maintenance. • Functionality Networking between the various maintenance and operation departments to manage scheduled maintenance tasks. • Conducting internal meetings within the maintenance section and Coordination of the interfaces between the other maintenance sections. • Plan and coordinate the track occupation during the testing and commissioning phase. • Collaboration with Hitachi rail in the control room to work with the ATC system for route setup using IXL. • Experience in root cause analysis and troubleshooting critical ATC alarms on wayside equipment. • Operational support to the commissioning team on site. • Controlling and organizing any train movements in the depot yard according to the movement authority using a shunter, following all safety and operational procedure. • Responsible for manually energizing and de-energize Traction Power Substations (TPS) and LPS in assigned stations. • Responsible to energize and de-energize the track for train dynamic tests using SCADA. • Preparing a safe work method statement and ensuring track conditions for a safe working environment after de-energization. • Daily inspections of all Technical Rooms (TPS, EMV, UPS, EBR, AWS, TR, SR, LV, RCR, ELV, PSD) • Operate the point machines using a hand crank. • Control and authorize other entity workers for track access. • Authorize to implement the LOTO procedure. • Hand-on experience on GIMMI (Work Permit System). • Control all the documentation of the related templates and checklists.
• Site survey during Substation handover from CWG to EWG after civil work. • Responsible for installation, Testing, and Pre-Commissioning of Traction Substations which include: 33 KV Air & Gas Insulated Switchgear Units (RMU), 33/0.590 KV dry type Rectifier Transformers, and 12 Pulse Rectifier Units, high-speed circuit breakers (HSCB), Voltage limiting Device (VFD), Two-pole switch Disconnector, Logic, and Relays Panel (LRP). • Responsible for installation, Testing & Pre-Commissioning of Auxiliary Substations which include: 33 kV Gas Insulated Switchgear Units (RMU), 33/0.400 KV dry type Auxiliary Transformers, Battery Bank and Battery Charger, ACDB, and DCDB. • Perform relay protection settings test of ABB REC-615. • Supervise MV cable termination KIT installation & perform Hi-Pot test at 72KVDC in a substation. • Responsible for installation Testing & Pre-Commissioning of 33 KV Receiving Substation, which includes 33 KV Gas-insulated switchgear, Metering Bay, and Bay Control & Relay Panels. • Perform PICO/ Pre-commissioning test of 33KV MV Switch Gear, AC/DC DP and AC/DC CP, Voltage Limiting device & DC Disconnecting Panel as per schematic diagram. • Supervise Bus bar installation & torque test of 33KV MV Switchgear (TP & PP) of Substations. • Supervise & Monitor cable tray installation & testing as per IFC shop drawing i.e. visual, mechanical, continuity, grounding & bonding test. • Inspection & witness of Traction/Auxiliary dry type transformer installation & tests. • Inspection of MV/LV cables Continuity & insulation test. • Preparing safe work method statement. • Inspection of grounding cable dressing, Continuity & Earth resistance test. • MV/LV Cable termination as per wiring diagram & torque test witness. • Perform quality check from Equipment site survey, installation till commissioning & system energization. • Preparing Asset list, key list, Equipment Material IR, installation IR, MV/LV cables IR, and Cable tray IR documents for the handover of the substation from the Construction to the Commissioning team. • Inspect & raise Observation/Non-conformance reports & follow up with the concerned supervisor.
