• Detail study of Scope of Drawings, schedule equipment, specification, quantity take off & preparation of Bill of Quantities for Electrical equipment. • Preparing Technical Queries of ambiguities in Shop drawings, specifications and BOQ. • In coordination with the design team, timely submission of the shop drawings to the consultant to get the approval. • Timely submission of the material submission with special focus on long lead items like generators, LV switchgear, pump sets, busduct system, ventilation fans, FAHU and the condensing units etc. • Prepare load schedule, single line diagram (SLD) & submit for DEWA approvals. • Handling Electrical installation, addressable Fire Alarm system, Security(CCTV & Access control), decorative light fixtures, illumination & dimming system, cable routing, Earthing, cable trays, ATS Panel, LV & Switchgear(MDB, SMDB,DB,…). • Execution & monitoring, Testing & Commissioning of all MEP system like Firefighting(Hydrant Line & Wet riser)FM200, Foam Deluge, FACP, Leakage Test of Refrigerant of copper pipe, FAHU and complete electrical & ELV system as per compliance with the plan, Shop Drawings, standards & Schedule. • Complete installation, testing & commissioning of the lifesaving equipment like Ventilation fans & Co sensor. • Complete installation, testing & commissioning of the LPG central gas system like LPG tanks, MS & copper piping, PRDP, deluge system, sensors, detectors, flashers, control panels, solenoid valves, meters, filling line piping, PRMS supply and installation. • Installation, testing & commissioning of the busduct system. • Complete installation, testing & commissioning of the lightning protection system, earth rods, air terminals, earth pits, copper strip and test links. • Installation testing & commissioning of the automation system • Ability to co-ordinate with civil engineers, consultants& client for all MEP related works. • Calculation of Bus bar, cable sizes, circuit breakers and motors etc. • Played key role in DEWA & DCD inspection, team effort meet and often exceeded all performance, quality & reliability goals. • Final submissions of the monthly invoice for the MEP works and making sure that the submitted invoices are approved by the consultant and accordingly are as per the company projections. • Acting as the main point of communication between the civil and MEP departments. • Attending to all the technical meetings/site walk • Making sure that all the health and safety measures are being followed. • In coordination with the design team preparation and the submission of the as built drawings. • Obtaining the warranty certificates for all the long lead items from the supplier and subsequent submission to the consultant.

Electrical & Instrumentation Installations • Participate in Crane Control Upgrading & Maintenance • Monitor operation of Electrical Systems including Switchboard, Motors and Drives • Carry out the day to day routine checks on the dredger (electrical and electronic equipment) • Carry out Watch Keeping duties and report to the Electrical Superintendent any and all maintenance sheets, breakdown jobs. • Monitor operation of Generator, Hydraulic Power Units & Mooring Systems • Supervise all planned maintenance and emergency repairs, as required.
