• Area inspection engineer for Hydrocracker, Dewaxing & Hydrogen Unit. • Attending daily management meeting conducted by Refinery manager to discuss the daily operations/ maintenance & Inspection issues. • Involvement in asset Integrity (risk-based inspection, piping tracking & thickness monitoring location optimization, inspection turnaround planning, advanced non-destructive testing application and failure analysis) • Reviewed and compiled equipment history inspection records to ensure that all the major issues are documented & updated. • Prepared the scope of work for static equipment’s & piping’s during Planned Turn around & shut down. • Responsible to develop the routine and non-routine inspection programs & to supervise the inspection team for turnaround/ shut down inspections. • Review the initial inspection reports on conditions of vessels, tanks and their internals and recommends the appropriate non-destructive technique to identify the possible problems/cause. • Stage wise Inspection of fabrication and erection of Process piping in accordance with ASME B31.3, Project specification, P&ID & Isometric Drawings etc. • To study the Isometric & P&ID drawing received from the clients and to identify the pipelines and carry out the inspection work. • Check flow direction arrows on valves; verify that they are properly identified and valves are installed in accordance with flow direction. • Ensure that pipe supports, hangers and guides have been installed in accordance with the piping drawings and the pipe support details. • Inspect piping just before erection to verify that interior is clear of foreign materials check edge preparation and fit-ups to verify that areas to be welded are free of contaminants and that fit up is with in tolerance. • Monitoring the QA/QC Documentation of the subcontractors and ensure that all the activities are incorporated to their system on daily basis and can be traced according to our requirement.
