• Area inspection engineer for Hydrocracker, Dewaxing & Hydrogen Unit. • Attending daily management meeting conducted by Refinery manager to discuss the daily operations/ maintenance & Inspection issues. • Involvement in asset Integrity (risk-based inspection, piping tracking & thickness monitoring location optimization, inspection turnaround planning, advanced non-destructive testing application and failure analysis) • Reviewed and compiled equipment history inspection records to ensure that all the major issues are documented & updated. • Prepared the scope of work for static equipment’s & piping’s during Planned Turn around & shut down. • Responsible to develop the routine and non-routine inspection programs & to supervise the inspection team for turnaround/ shut down inspections. • Review the initial inspection reports on conditions of vessels, tanks and their internals and recommends the appropriate non-destructive technique to identify the possible problems/cause. Reviews all test data prepared by plant inspectors & evaluate the NDT (ultrasonic thickness/ flaw detection, eddy current, MPT, RT etc...) & Destructive test (hardness testing, tensile and bend testing etc.…) test results in accordance with code & standards & issue recommendations for repair and/or replacement plan accordingly or return to operational status as applicable. • Prepares the final inspection reports with findings, technical discussion on probability of failure if any and develop recommendations for corrective action. • Close coordination with Process & Corrosion Engineer to investigate / resolve corrosion issues. • Address the scheduled and due inspection activities to operations/ maintenance & ensures no overdue exists. • Provides technical inspection support for Projects (Review project documents regarding material selection and mechanical integrity, perform shop and field inspections and review QA/QC documents, method statements etc. during project execution) • Issues the annual inspection plan in the process plants (mechanical, civil & E&I - e.g., equipment external inspection survey, spring hanger survey, dead leg survey, small bore nipple survey, cathodic protection, etc.….) & Prepare criteria for selection of inspection contractors & evaluate bids technically for selection of contractors. • Support to establish and optimize the current piping inspection program & to reduce the number and frequency of piping inspections. • Member of MOC team (management of change - Mechanical changes, Process, Electrical and Instrumentation changes). • Member of Root Cause Analysis and failure investigations team. • Review of PI process system (Monitor plant processes, process heaters tube skin temperature & respond appropriately to critical values and events) • Review RFET & IRIS testing reports of heat exchanger tubes & MFL test reports for tank bottom plates. • Involved in training of newly joined Saudi national employees. • Familiar with the Company Health, Safety & Environmental policy, procedures, regulations.

• Entering all NDT and PWHT reports to PCA. • Preparing the list of joints that required NDT and PWHT. • Preparing documents for Hydro test package. • Supporting to hydro test package team.

• Performed external visual inspection of piping, columns, vessels, heat exchangers and heaters. • Performed internal inspection of Pressure vessels, Columns and Heat exchangers. • Performed pre cleaning and post cleaning inspection of piping and Static equipment. • Preparing preliminary and final reports based on inspections, NDT tests and highlighting any abnormalities, issues, and recommendations. • Carrying out pressure test of plant piping and equipment. • Hydro testing carried out on pressure vessel, heat exchanger after repair. • Carrying out the fit-up inspection, Bolt torquing box-up inspections. • Witnessed all NDE inspection activities such as RT, UT, PT, MT and eddy current testing, videos copy, PMI testing for material verification etc. • Maintained records of all inspection process carried in both hard copies as well as electronic copy. • Daily reporting to Inspection lead. • Attended in daily work progress meeting.

• Performed external & internal visual inspection of piping, columns, vessels, heat exchangers and heaters. • Selection of appropriate inspection / NDT techniques as per codes/standards& specification. Supervision and coordination of all on-stream and shutdown inspection/NDT activities • Condition monitoring and assessment, Remaining life calculation, Thickness survey and review. • Identifying areas of special concern and deterioration (e.g. injection points, buried piping, corrosion under insulation (CUI), dead legs, erosion & pitting) • Corrosion analysis (remaining service life calculation based on corrosion rate). • Selection of repair techniques, materials, inspection & testing requirements Inspection of completed repairs, modifications and/or replacement. • Developed corrosion circuit and involved in corrosion study. • Assist and participate in RBI analysis and developing the inspection plans/frequencies for static equipment and piping. • Witnessed relief device pop up, seat leak and back pressure/bellow test. • Performed final box up inspection for tanks, vessels, columns and heat exchangers. • Coordinates with the Operations Planning and Maintenance supervisors such activities as the scheduling and planning of inspections, obtaining the requisite permits, and performing any required special audits of equipment. • Carrying out hydro test, leak test and pneumatic test of plant piping and equipment.

• Stage wise Inspection of fabrication and erection of Process piping in accordance with ASME B31.3, Project specification, P&ID & Isometric Drawings etc. • To study the Isometric & P&ID drawing received from the clients and to identify the pipelines and carry out the inspection work. • Check flow direction arrows on valves; verify that they are properly identified and valves are installed in accordance with flow direction. • Ensure that pipe supports, hangers and guides have been installed in accordance with the piping drawings and the pipe support details. • Inspect piping just before erection to verify that interior is clear of foreign materials check edge preparation and fit-ups to verify that areas to be welded are free of contaminants and that fit up is with in tolerance. • Monitoring the QA/QC Documentation of the subcontractors and ensure that all the activities are incorporated to their system on daily basis and can be traced according to our requirement.
