 Reviewing scope of work and drawings for the project.  Review ITP for planning inspection activity according to project scope.  Review all the applicable procedures and MS for the scope of work.  Verify and ensure all the ITP, procedures, MS to be approved prior to start the construction activity.  Review all the concern documents for proceeding material (pipe, flanges, fittings, valves, gasket, bolt, etc,.) receiving inspection.  Review of welding procedure specification (WPS) with supporting Procedure Qualification Test (PQR) prior to start of any welding activities. Witnessing Procedure Qualification Test (PQR) including Charpy impact, Tension and Guided-Bend Tests, Hardness Tests for the Qualification of WPS in accordance with ASME Sec.IX, API 1104 and project Specification.  Witnessing of Radiography, MPT, PT, and UT thickness measurement and also ensure that required NDE has been covered as per the project specification.

 Coordinating Procedure Qualification Test (PQR) and also witnessing Welder Performance Qualification Test (WQT) in accordance with ASME Sec. IX to ensure welder is qualified for a board range of jobs.  Shutdown and maintenance (piping & structural) jobs in offshore.  Hot taping document verification and inspection.  Inspect joint preparation, joint configuration, and cleanliness; preheat temperature, and the use of approved welding procedure specification (WPS). Visual examination of root passes, penetration, undercut, cracks, slugs and porosity. Check completed joints for excessive reinforcement, and other surface irregularities.  Monitoring and Inspecting the prefabrication works by the subcontractors including the inspection of incoming materials, material handling, heat number transfer, fit-up, welding activities, post weld heat treatment (PWHT) of welding joints, Hardness test, PMI (Positive Material Identification), reinforced pad test, orientation and flush grinding of Orifice Flanges.  Ensure satisfactory identification of materials, proper protection of pressure part fittings. Verify proper size and schedule of pipe, rating of flanges, proper flange face and fittings.  Inspection of welding consumables.  Jacketed piping inspection.  Monitoring the QA/QC documentation of contractors and ensure that all the activities are incorporated to their system on daily basis and can be traced according to our requirements.  Make sure the pipe spools are properly covered with the end caps and safely transported to the site without any damages.  Issuing NCR’s when the contractors noted non-conformity activities.  Reviewing line history sheet and ensure that all required NDE examination, PWHT and Hardness Test shall be performed prior to final system pressure testing unless otherwise specified by engineering.  Visual Inspection of equipment / pipe spools / HES etc, prior to installation at site and at Vendors premises.  Co-ordination with field engineering department for various technical problems and Technical queries.  Conduct walkdown for preparing and issuing punch list prior to hydro test.  Check and assure that all joints are exposed for examination during pressure test. Ensure that isolation or disconnection of equipment not to be tested.

 Witness final Hydro pressure tests, including verification that pressure gauges have adequate dial range and is calibrated. Verify that the testing pressure does not exceed the allowable pressure of any equipment on the system. Verify that the required test pressure was maintained for the specified length of time with no acceptable leakage.  Confirm repairs, re-testing and re-inspection in accordance with the specifications. Ensure blinds removed and correct gaskets are installed.  Blasting and painting documentation/inspection.  Conduct walkdown for verifying all the open punch list to be closed.  Confirm that instrument-tubing connections are reconnected. Ensure removal of hanger shipping bolts. Check that the pipe supports and hangers are completed and ready for operation, verify proper insulation and installation. Verification of closed punched items and conduct walkthrough for each completed pressure part system prior to mechanical acceptance.  Verifying re-instatement and submitting dossier to client for review & approval.
