Global Trade Lane Growth Specialist
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and Develop Trade Lane Opportunities: To expand our business operations, we will focus on identifying potential clients and opportunities within designated trade lanes.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to understand their logistics needs and provide tailored solutions.
Sales and Revenue Growth: Drive sales efforts to achieve and exceed revenue targets through strategic planning and execution of business development initiatives.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities within assigned trade lanes.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including operations, customer service, and marketing, to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure profitable business deals.
Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to management.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
Book of Business: Candidates with an existing book of business will be given priority.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
Skills:
Strong understanding of international trade regulations and logistics processes.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
