Onboarding Officer
Job Description
Key responsibilities:
As an Onboarding Officer, you will be responsible for orchestrating a comprehensive onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company. The ideal candidate must possess skills in scheduling induction programs and orientation sessions to equip new employees with the necessary knowledge and resources. Detailed responsibilities as follows:
Welcome new employees to the company.
Collect the necessary documents for onboarding.
Coordinate with relevant departments for visa processing, ticket and hotel bookings, transportation/shuttle service, and arranging ICT equipment.
Conduct an office tour for new staff to familiarize them with available facilities.
Provide the new joiner with a welcoming kit.
Ensure that new hires receive assistance in configuring their hardware and software.
Assist new employees in setting up bank accounts.
Ensure a positive onboarding experience and communicate any areas for improvement to the HR team.
Organize calendar schedules and send onboarding meeting invites.
Offer guidance and support to new employees by addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or relevant field
Professional credential/certification in Human Resources Management will be an added advantage
Minimum 2 years of experience as an Onboarding Officer
Proficiency in using MS Office
Basic knowledge of HR Policies and Procedures, Labor Law and Regulations
Strong communication skills in both Arabic and English
Superlative interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with the new employees
Organization and time management skills
