Job Description

The ELV System Commissioning Engineer is responsible for testing, commissioning, and handing over low-voltage and extra-low-voltage systems across construction projects.
The role ensures that ELV installations are completed according to approved designs, technical specifications, and project requirements.
The engineer coordinates with site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients to resolve technical and commissioning issues.
The position also prepares testing documentation, commissioning reports, and handover records to support successful project completion.

 

Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute commissioning activities for ELV systems at project sites.
Inspect installations to verify compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
Conduct functional testing of ELV equipment, devices, cabling, and control systems.
Troubleshoot system faults and coordinate corrective actions with installation teams.
Review testing and commissioning procedures before system activation.
Coordinate with consultants and clients during inspections and acceptance testing.
Prepare commissioning reports, test certificates, punch lists, and handover documentation.
Verify system integration and communication between different ELV subsystems.
Monitor subcontractor commissioning activities and ensure quality standards are maintained.
Support final system demonstrations and client training where required.
