Automotive Engineer

Job Description

The Automotive Engineer is responsible for supporting the design, development, testing, and improvement of premium automotive systems and components.
The role involves working with cross-functional engineering teams to develop vehicles that meet Bentley’s standards for performance, luxury, safety, reliability, and quality.
The engineer will analyze technical requirements, develop engineering solutions, and contribute to vehicle validation activities.
The position also requires strong collaboration with manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and other technical teams throughout the vehicle development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop automotive components, systems, and engineering solutions.
Analyze vehicle performance, technical specifications, and engineering requirements.
Conduct engineering calculations, simulations, testing, and validation activities.
Identify technical problems and develop effective corrective solutions.
Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to improve vehicle build quality.
Prepare engineering documentation, technical reports, specifications, and test results.
Work with suppliers to review component designs and resolve technical issues.
Support vehicle testing, prototype development, and product validation programs.
Ensure engineering activities comply with applicable safety and regulatory requirements.
Contribute to continuous improvement of vehicle performance, efficiency, reliability, and quality.
