Production Manager

Job Description

The Production Manager will oversee manufacturing operations to ensure products are produced safely, efficiently, and according to required quality standards. The role involves managing production teams, planning manufacturing activities, and monitoring productivity and operational performance. The manager will coordinate with engineering, supply chain, maintenance, and quality departments to maintain smooth production flow. The position will also drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, workplace safety, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily production activities and manufacturing operations.
Plan production schedules according to customer and business requirements.
Monitor production output, efficiency, quality, and operational costs.
Lead, coach, and develop production employees and supervisors.
Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures.
Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely material availability.
Work with maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime.
Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Prepare production reports and communicate operational performance to management.
