Process Engineer

Job Description

The Process Engineer provides technical expertise for oil and gas processing facilities and production systems. The position focuses on maintaining safe, reliable, efficient, and optimized processing operations across offshore production assets. The engineer evaluates process performance, identifies bottlenecks, and develops improvement initiatives for production and facility reliability. The role requires close cooperation with operations, maintenance, mechanical, instrumentation, and project engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and optimize oil, gas, water, and hydrocarbon processing systems.
Perform process simulations, calculations, and technical evaluations.
Identify production bottlenecks and develop practical optimization solutions.
Support troubleshooting of process equipment and operating problems.
Review process operating parameters and recommend improvements.
Prepare and maintain process engineering calculations, specifications, and technical documentation.
Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, risk assessments, and other technical safety studies.
Support debottlenecking, modification, upgrade, and reliability-improvement projects.
Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to improve facility performance.
Ensure process solutions comply with relevant technical, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
