Service Technician

Job Description

The Service Technician will perform inspection, maintenance, diagnostics, repair, and servicing of passenger vehicles and related automotive systems. The role requires practical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, electronic, and diagnostic systems and the ability to identify faults accurately. The technician will contribute to safe, reliable, and high-quality vehicle operation while maintaining professional workshop standards. Key Responsibilities:

Perform scheduled vehicle servicing, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle faults.
Carry out repairs and replacement of defective automotive components.
Use approved diagnostic equipment and technical tools to identify problems.
Test repaired vehicles to confirm safe and correct operation.
Follow manufacturer repair procedures, technical specifications, and service standards.
Document completed work, diagnostic findings, repairs, and replaced components.
Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and work areas in safe operating condition.
Communicate technical findings and required repairs to service advisors and customers.
Follow occupational safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
