Operations Director

Job Description

The Operations Director provides strategic and operational leadership across manufacturing, supply chain, quality, logistics, and operational performance activities. The role is responsible for ensuring that Barco’s operations deliver products efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, cost control, and customer service. The director works across multiple functions to optimize processes, capacity, resources, and operational performance. This position also leads continuous improvement initiatives and develops operational strategies aligned with the company’s overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business objectives.
Lead manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, quality, and operational teams.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators for operational performance.
Optimize production capacity, processes, resources, and operational costs.
Ensure products are delivered according to quality, cost, and schedule requirements.
Identify operational risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with senior leadership on budgets, forecasts, investments, and business planning.
Develop strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturing partners, and key stakeholders.
Build high-performing teams and promote a culture of accountability, quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
