Manufacturing Test Engineer

Job Description

The Manufacturing Test Engineer develops and maintains test solutions for Barco products during the manufacturing process. The role focuses on ensuring that products are tested accurately, efficiently, and consistently before shipment to customers. The engineer works with manufacturing, hardware, software, quality, and operations teams to identify production issues and improve test coverage. This position plays an important role in reducing manufacturing defects, improving production efficiency, and maintaining product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement automated and manual manufacturing test processes.
Design test fixtures, test equipment, and production test environments.
Create and maintain test procedures, scripts, and technical documentation.
Analyze manufacturing test failures and identify root causes.
Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to resolve product issues.
Improve test coverage, accuracy, repeatability, and production throughput.
Support new product introduction and transfer products into manufacturing.
Monitor test data and identify recurring production quality problems.
Maintain and calibrate production test equipment as required.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing test processes.
