Cybersecurity Analyst

Job Description

The Cybersecurity Analyst will help protect organizational systems, applications, networks, and data from cyber threats and security incidents. The role involves monitoring security events, investigating suspicious activities, and supporting incident-response processes. The analyst will also contribute to vulnerability management, security assessments, and implementation of cybersecurity controls. The position requires strong analytical skills and an understanding of modern security threats, technologies, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor security alerts, logs, and events for potential threats and anomalies.
Investigate cybersecurity incidents and support incident-response activities.
Identify vulnerabilities and assist with remediation and risk reduction.
Perform security assessments of applications, systems, and infrastructure.
Support endpoint, network, identity, and access-security controls.
Analyze threat intelligence and emerging cybersecurity risks.
Maintain security policies, procedures, and technical documentation.
Support security audits, compliance activities, and risk assessments.
Collaborate with IT and development teams to address security weaknesses.
Prepare security reports and escalate critical incidents appropriately.
