Job Description

The Geoscientist/Geologist will provide geological and subsurface expertise for resource evaluation, feedstock assessment, and technical studies.
The role involves interpreting geological information and integrating data from different technical disciplines to support business and engineering decisions.
The specialist will work with petroleum engineers, process engineers, technical experts, and external partners where required.
The position will contribute to geological modelling, data interpretation, resource evaluation, risk assessment, and technical reporting.

 

Key Responsibilities
Interpret geological, geophysical, well, and subsurface datasets.
Evaluate geological formations, reservoirs, and hydrocarbon-bearing structures.
Develop and maintain geological models and technical interpretations.
Integrate geological information with engineering and production data.
Support resource and reserve evaluation activities.
Conduct geological risk assessments and identify uncertainties.
Prepare geological maps, cross-sections, models, and technical reports.
Collaborate with drilling, petroleum, reservoir, and production engineering teams.
Review technical data from contractors, consultants, and external service providers.
Support technical studies and investment decisions through high-quality geological analysis.
