Supply Chain Specialist

Job Description

The Supply Chain Specialist supports the efficient flow of materials, components, products, and information throughout the supply chain. The role coordinates with suppliers, procurement, production, logistics, and warehouse teams to maintain material availability and delivery performance. The specialist monitors orders, inventory, supplier performance, and logistics activities. The position contributes to cost optimization, supply continuity, and improvements in supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor material requirements and coordinate timely procurement activities.
Track supplier orders, deliveries, lead times, and material availability.
Coordinate with suppliers regarding schedules, quantities, and delivery issues.
Monitor inventory levels and help prevent shortages or excess stock.
Support supplier performance evaluation and improvement activities.
Coordinate logistics and transportation activities for incoming materials.
Maintain accurate purchase order, supplier, inventory, and delivery records.
Identify supply chain risks and support contingency planning.
Analyze supply chain data to identify opportunities for cost and efficiency improvements.
Collaborate with production, procurement, finance, warehouse, and logistics teams.
