Software Engineer

Job Description

The Software Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and services supporting Nokia’s telecommunications and digital technology solutions.
The role involves working with cross-functional engineering teams to build scalable, reliable, and high-performance software.
The engineer will participate throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design to deployment and maintenance.
The position requires strong programming skills, problem-solving ability, and an understanding of modern software development practices.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain software applications and services according to business and technical requirements.
Write clean, efficient, scalable, and maintainable code using appropriate programming languages.
Analyze software requirements and translate them into technical designs and implementation plans.
Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and debugging activities.
Collaborate with software architects, product managers, QA engineers, and other development teams.
Identify and resolve software defects, performance issues, and production problems.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to coding standards and engineering best practices.
Maintain technical documentation covering application design, functionality, and deployment processes.
Support continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and software quality.
