Job Description

The Petroleum Engineer is responsible for evaluating and optimizing oil and gas production from reservoirs.
The role involves reservoir performance analysis, production forecasting, well performance evaluation, and recovery optimization.
The engineer works closely with geoscientists, drilling teams, production engineers, and field operations personnel.
The position supports safe, efficient, and economically viable hydrocarbon recovery throughout the asset lifecycle.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze reservoir and production data to evaluate well and field performance.
Develop production forecasts and identify opportunities for production enhancement.
Support reservoir management and hydrocarbon recovery optimization programs.
Evaluate well performance and recommend appropriate production optimization measures.
Conduct material-balance, decline-curve, and production performance analyses.
Collaborate with geologists and reservoir specialists on field development plans.
Support economic evaluations of drilling, workover, and production projects.
Prepare technical reports, production forecasts, and engineering recommendations.
Monitor production trends and investigate deviations from expected performance.
Ensure engineering activities comply with company, environmental, and safety standards.
