Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description

The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will design, implement, operate, and optimize cloud infrastructure supporting enterprise software platforms and services. The role will focus on reliability, scalability, security, automation, and efficient resource utilization across cloud environments. The engineer will work with software development, architecture, security, and operations teams to deliver resilient infrastructure. The position will also contribute to infrastructure-as-code, monitoring, CI/CD, and cloud governance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure environments.
Deploy and manage cloud-based compute, networking, storage, and database services.
Implement infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code practices.
Automate provisioning, configuration, deployment, and operational processes.
Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and capacity.
Implement security controls, access management, and cloud governance practices.
Support containerized applications and orchestration platforms.
Develop and maintain CI/CD infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, application, and performance issues.
Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
Optimize cloud resources and infrastructure costs.
Maintain infrastructure documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
