The role involves reservoir modeling, production analysis, reserves assessment, and field development planning.
The engineer works with geologists, petroleum engineers, and production teams to understand reservoir behavior.
The position supports long-term asset development and optimization through technical reservoir studies and performance forecasting.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze pressure, production, well-test, and reservoir performance data.
Develop and maintain reservoir simulation models.
Conduct material balance and reservoir performance studies.
Prepare production and recovery forecasts for field development plans.
Evaluate reserves and hydrocarbon recovery potential.
Recommend well locations and development strategies.
Assess water injection, gas injection, and enhanced recovery opportunities.
Monitor reservoir pressure and fluid movement.
Collaborate with geoscience and production teams on integrated studies.
Prepare technical reports and present reservoir recommendations to management.
