Job Description

The Senior Software Quality Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing solutions for enterprise software applications.
The role focuses heavily on Selenium-based automation while ensuring application quality, reliability, functionality, and performance across different environments.
The position works closely with software developers, business analysts, DevOps teams, and QA professionals throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and related automation technologies.
Build and enhance scalable test automation frameworks for web and enterprise applications.
Develop automated regression, functional, integration, and end-to-end test scenarios.
Analyze business and technical requirements to create comprehensive test cases and automation strategies.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
Identify, document, track, and verify software defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
Perform root-cause analysis of failed automated tests and application defects.
Collaborate with developers to improve testability, software quality, and defect prevention.
Maintain test data, automation libraries, test environments, and testing documentation.
Monitor automation results and provide detailed reports on test coverage and quality metrics.
Identify repetitive manual testing activities that can be converted into automated tests.
Contribute to QA standards, testing methodologies, coding practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
