VMC Machine Setter & Operator

Job Description

Deltron Precision Components is seeking a skilled VMC Machine Setter & Operator to set up, operate, and monitor Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines for precision component manufacturing. The role requires maintaining machining accuracy, ensuring production targets are achieved, and following quality standards. The ideal candidate should have experience in CNC machining, tooling, and machine maintenance. Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up VMC machines according to engineering drawings and production plans.
Operate VMC machines to manufacture precision components within specified tolerances.
Perform tool changes, offsets, and machine parameter adjustments.
Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments.
Monitor machine performance and identify machining issues.
Carry out routine preventive maintenance and machine cleaning.
Maintain production records and report output to supervisors.
Follow workplace safety, quality, and 5S manufacturing practices.
