Electrical Estimation Engineer

Job Description

The Electrical Estimation Engineer prepares accurate cost estimates for electrical panel manufacturing projects by analyzing technical documents, customer requirements, and material costs. The role supports the sales and project teams by providing competitive quotations while maintaining profitability. The engineer evaluates technical specifications, vendor quotations, and production requirements. Excellent analytical, commercial, and communication skills are essential for success.

Key Responsibilities
Review RFQs, tender documents, and customer specifications.
Prepare detailed BOQs and cost estimates for electrical projects.
Calculate material, labor, and manufacturing costs accurately.
Coordinate with procurement for supplier quotations.
Prepare commercial and technical proposals for customers.
Evaluate project risks and identify cost optimization opportunities.
Maintain updated pricing databases for electrical components.
Collaborate with engineering and sales departments during bidding.
Support project handover after successful order confirmation.
Ensure estimates comply with company policies and industry standards.
