Transport Safety & Fleet Risk Inspector

Job Description

GWC Logistics is hiring a Transport Safety & Fleet Risk Inspector to ensure compliance with transportation safety standards and fleet risk management policies. The role involves conducting vehicle inspections, evaluating driver compliance, and identifying operational safety risks. The inspector will work closely with fleet operations and HSE teams to improve transportation safety performance. Candidates should have strong knowledge of fleet management, transport regulations, and occupational safety practices.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct routine inspections of commercial vehicles and transport equipment.
Evaluate fleet compliance with transportation safety regulations.
Investigate transport incidents and prepare detailed inspection reports.
Monitor driver safety performance and compliance with company policies.
Identify operational risks and recommend corrective actions.
Coordinate preventive maintenance inspections with fleet teams.
Deliver safety awareness programs and toolbox talks for drivers.
Maintain accurate safety records and support continuous fleet risk improvement.
