Avionics & Electronics Maintenance Engineer

Job Description

The Avionics & Electronics Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, inspecting, and repairing aircraft avionics, electrical, communication, and navigation systems across Gulf Helicopters Company’s fleet. The role ensures all maintenance activities comply with aviation authority regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and company safety standards. The engineer supports both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to maximize aircraft availability and operational reliability. This position requires strong technical expertise, analytical problem-solving skills, and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of aviation safety.

Key Responsibilities
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on helicopter avionics and electronic systems.
Troubleshoot communication, navigation, radar, flight control, and electrical faults.
Conduct functional testing following maintenance and component replacement.
Interpret wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and maintenance documentation.
Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and manufacturer maintenance procedures.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and inspection reports.
Support aircraft modifications, upgrades, and avionics installations.
Coordinate with maintenance teams, engineers, and flight operations for timely aircraft release.
