Automotive Logistics Planner

Job Description

Bajaj Auto Ltd is looking for an Automotive Logistics Planner to manage the movement of raw materials, components, and finished vehicles across manufacturing and distribution networks. The role focuses on inventory planning, transportation coordination, and supply chain optimization. The planner will work with suppliers, warehouses, and production teams to ensure uninterrupted operations. Strong analytical skills and experience in logistics planning are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop logistics plans for inbound materials and outbound vehicle deliveries.
Coordinate transportation schedules with suppliers and logistics partners.
Monitor inventory levels to prevent production shortages or excess stock.
Optimize warehouse utilization and material flow efficiency.
Track shipments and resolve transportation delays proactively.
Analyze logistics performance and recommend cost-saving improvements.
Collaborate with procurement, production, and distribution teams.
Prepare logistics reports, forecasts, and inventory planning documentation.
