Job Description

Bajaj Auto Ltd is looking for a Plant Maintenance Engineer (Electrical/PLC) to ensure the reliability and efficiency of manufacturing equipment across production facilities. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems, PLC-controlled machinery, and industrial automation equipment. The candidate will work closely with production teams to minimize equipment downtime and improve operational efficiency. Strong troubleshooting skills, knowledge of industrial electrical systems, and experience with PLC programming are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical and PLC-controlled equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical faults, automation failures, and machine breakdowns.
Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements for higher reliability.
Maintain PLC programs, HMI systems, sensors, and industrial control panels.
Coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime during maintenance activities.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and maintenance procedures.
Maintain maintenance records, spare parts inventory, and equipment documentation.
Support installation, commissioning, and testing of new machinery and automation systems.
