Supply Chain Freight Forwarding Executive
Job Description
The Supply Chain Freight Forwarding Executive is responsible for coordinating domestic and international freight movements across air, sea, and land transportation. The role ensures timely shipment execution, customs compliance, documentation accuracy, and cost-efficient logistics operations. Working closely with customers, carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams, the executive ensures seamless cargo movement while maintaining high service standards. The position also focuses on optimizing transportation processes and resolving shipment-related issues proactively.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate import and export shipments through air, sea, and road freight services.
Prepare shipping documentation including Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, invoices, and packing lists.
Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, freight agents, customs authorities, and transport providers.
Monitor shipment status and provide regular updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
Negotiate freight rates and identify cost-saving transportation opportunities.
Resolve shipment delays, cargo discrepancies, and customer service issues efficiently.
Maintain accurate freight records and logistics reports using ERP or transportation management
