Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
Job Description
The Aircraft Maintenance Engineer is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing aircraft to ensure they remain airworthy and fully compliant with aviation safety standards. The engineer performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities while adhering to manufacturer guidelines and regulatory requirements. Working in line and base maintenance environments, the role supports operational reliability and minimizes aircraft downtime. Safety, quality, and technical excellence are essential aspects of this position.
Key Responsibilities
Perform scheduled aircraft inspections and preventive maintenance.
Diagnose and repair aircraft mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems.
Certify maintenance tasks in accordance with aviation regulations.
Troubleshoot technical faults using approved maintenance manuals.
Replace defective aircraft components and conduct functional testing.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and technical documentation.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Coordinate with engineering teams and maintenance planners to optimize aircraft availability.
