Process Engineer

Job Description

Process Engineers are responsible for designing, optimizing, and monitoring oil and gas processing facilities across QatarEnergy operations. They ensure plant processes operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards. The role focuses on improving production performance, reducing operational costs, and supporting facility expansion projects. Process Engineers work closely with operations, maintenance, and project teams to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor and optimize refinery and gas processing operations.
Conduct process simulations and engineering calculations.
Identify opportunities for efficiency improvement and cost reduction.
Support plant troubleshooting and root cause analysis activities.
Develop process design packages and engineering documentation.
Review process safety and operational risk assessments.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
Support commissioning and startup of new facilities.
Analyze plant performance and recommend corrective actions.
Coordinate with project teams during facility upgrades and expansions.
