Job Description

Petroleum Engineers at QatarEnergy are responsible for maximizing hydrocarbon recovery from oil and gas reservoirs while ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations. They analyze reservoir performance, develop production enhancement strategies, and support field development projects. The role requires collaboration with geologists, reservoir engineers, drilling teams, and production personnel. Petroleum Engineers contribute to sustaining Qatar’s energy production and long-term reservoir management objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze reservoir and production data to optimize hydrocarbon recovery.
Develop field development and reservoir management plans.
Monitor well performance and recommend production enhancement solutions.
Conduct reservoir simulation and forecasting studies.
Evaluate drilling, completion, and workover opportunities.
Support reserve estimation and reporting activities.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on field optimization projects.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
Prepare technical reports and engineering recommendations.
Support implementation of enhanced oil recovery (EOR) initiatives.
