Drilling Engineer

Job Description

A Drilling Engineer at Halliburton is responsible for planning, designing, and optimizing drilling operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective well construction. The role involves collaborating with geologists, field engineers, and drilling crews to deliver successful drilling projects while maintaining HSE standards.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop drilling programs and well plans.
Monitor drilling operations and analyze real-time drilling data.
Optimize drilling performance and reduce operational costs.
Prepare casing, cementing, and drilling fluid programs.
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
Coordinate with field teams, contractors, and clients.
Conduct risk assessments and mitigate drilling hazards.
Prepare technical reports and post-well analyses.
Troubleshoot drilling issues and recommend corrective actions.
Support directional drilling and well trajectory planning.
