HSE Engineer

Job Description

The HSE Engineer is responsible for implementing and maintaining Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards across project sites and operations. The role ensures compliance with company policies, client requirements, and local regulations to promote a safe and sustainable work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and management systems.
Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and safety inspections.
Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare HSE reports, statistics, and documentation.
Organize safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for employees.
Monitor contractor and subcontractor compliance with HSE requirements.
Participate in emergency response planning and drills.
Promote a strong safety culture across project teams.
Support audits and ensure closure of corrective actions.
