Construction Engineer

Job Description

Job Summary:
Petrofac is seeking a skilled and motivated Construction Engineer to oversee and coordinate construction activities for oil & gas, energy, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that construction work is executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction activities at project sites.
Ensure construction work is executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and procedures.
Monitor project progress and report on schedules, costs, and resource utilization.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, subcontractors, and client teams.
Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) regulations and company policies.
Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues during construction.
Review method statements, work permits, and risk assessments.
Verify quality standards and ensure adherence to project requirements.
Support project commissioning and handover activities.
Prepare construction reports and maintain project documentation.
