Job Description

The Geomechanics Specialist provides technical expertise in geomechanical analysis, wellbore stability, pore pressure prediction, and drilling optimization. The role supports well construction projects by developing geomechanical models, identifying drilling risks, and recommending solutions to improve safety, efficiency, and cost performance.

 

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain 1D/3D geomechanical and wellbore stability models.
Perform pore pressure prediction and stress analysis.
Analyze rock mechanical properties and collapse pressure.
Identify drilling hazards and recommend mitigation strategies.
Support drilling operations with real-time geomechanical monitoring.
Communicate technical findings and recommendations to clients and project teams.
Review offset well data and implement lessons learned.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including drilling, geology, and reservoir engineering.
Serve as a trusted technical advisor on geomechanics-related matters
