Job Description

The Role

 

We are looking for a dynamic and technically proficient Brand & Community Manager to lead our branding, marketing, and community engagement efforts. This role requires a blend of technical acumen, marketing expertise, and community management skills to grow and nurture Dodo Payments’ presence across various channels, particularly Discord.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Brand & Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute branding and marketing strategies to enhance Dodo Payments’ visibility and positioning.
  • Technical Content & Thought Leadership: Create and oversee technical content, including blog posts, whitepapers, and social media updates, to engage developers and fintech enthusiasts.
  • Community Engagement: Manage and grow the Discord community, ensuring active engagement, support, and discussions around Dodo Payments’ offerings.
  • Campaign Execution: Plan and execute marketing campaigns, product launches, and community events to drive awareness and adoption.
  • Social Media Management: Oversee social media channels, crafting compelling narratives and ensuring consistent brand messaging.
  • Partnerships & Collaborations: Identify and foster partnerships with influencers, fintech communities, and industry leaders to amplify brand reach.
  • Customer & Developer Advocacy: Act as the bridge between users, developers, and internal teams, gathering insights to improve Dodo Payments’ products and services.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze engagement metrics to optimize marketing and community efforts.

 

Required Skills & Experience

 

  • Technical Background: Experience in fintech, payments, or a related technical field is a must. Ability to understand APIs, integrations, and developer needs.
  • Marketing & Branding Expertise: Proven track record in branding, content creation, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Community Management: Experience in managing and growing communities on Discord, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
  • Content Creation: Strong writing and communication skills to create engaging technical and marketing content.
  • Data-Driven Mindset: Ability to analyze engagement metrics and optimize strategies accordingly.
  • Collaboration & Leadership: Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and customer success teams.

 

Nice to Have

 

  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Knowledge of emerging fintech trends.
  • Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Notion, Figma, or analytics platforms.
