We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Business Development Executive to assist us in broadening our customer base. As the face of our company, you will need to possess the commitment to develop and implement a successful sales strategy. The role of the Business Development Executive is to discover fresh business prospects and actively pursue them, which includes exploring new markets, growth areas, trends, and services related to the company.
Job Responsibility
Discover new business opportunities, including emerging markets, areas of growth, current trends, and services provided by the company. Identify and cultivate new business prospects by establishing contact with potential clients and organizations. Take the lead in sales conversations and negotiations, with support from respective department heads. Provide reports on successful outcomes and areas that require improvement. Develop strategies for business growth and create marketing plans. Identification of new business opportunities: This can be measured by tracking the number and quality of new business opportunities identified, such as the identification of potential markets, growth areas, trends, and services related to the company. Development of new business prospects: This can be evaluated by monitoring the individual’s success in developing and nurturing new business prospects, including the number of contacts made, meetings arranged, and conversions into potential clients. Sales conversation and negotiation: This can be assessed by considering the individual’s ability to lead and successfully close sales conversations and negotiations, resulting in the acquisition of new clients or business partnerships. Development of business growth strategies and marketing plans: This can be assessed by reviewing the individual’s contributions to the development of effective business growth strategies and marketing plans, including the alignment of these plans with the company’s objectives and the ability to generate measurable results
Skills Required
Possess a minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in consultative, B2B sales or similar roles, with a proven track record of success. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with knowledge of sales CRM systems considered an advantage. Proficient in stakeholder management, communication, and time management. Capable of multitasking and handling multiple assignments simultaneously. Skilled in identifying and resolving project issues. Strong abilities in account mapping and headhunting, demonstrated by successfully selling Accounting/bookkeeping outsourcing services to international network firms.
