As a Research Geophysicist in the GEO TP Research team, you will be reporting to the Research Manager. In this role, you will contribute to a variety of research activities in line with the business needs such as developing, testing, improving, and validating algorithms/modules/methods with predefined geophysical content.

Key Qualifications

 

  • Develop a program or prototype with predefined geophysical content and specifications
  • Participate in the geophysical validation of prototype with the Imaging team
  • Understand internal requirements by building close relationships with the Imaging team
  • Prepare technical articles and carry out technical presentations for clients
  • Support the innovation process to deploy patent policy
  • Develop knowledge by reading academic publications, attending technical presentations, workshops, conferences, and seminars
  • Participate in the innovation process for deploying patent policy
  • Stay abreast of technology advancements to develop and improve research activities for Business Units and Clients

 

Qualifications

  • Master or PhD in Geophysics, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering or other analytical discipline
  • Have at least 0-3 years of experience
