HR Generalist (Contract)
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Administration
- Gathering the data (online and offline) into a payroll template (Incentive, Overtime, Long Service Award, One Time payment and forward to payroll provider. Verifying the payroll report and handling payroll queries.
- Payroll fund requisition to Finance.
- Statutory registration (Employee Provident Fund, Social Security Organization, LHDN) including tax clearance for expatriates (work collaborate with the immigration vendor).
- Monthly payroll Journal Voucher (JV), preparing quarterly provision and reclass Journal Voucher (JV).
- Year-end processing for payroll (Cash prerequisite).
- Provide payroll reports to Business as per payroll calendar/requests.
Employee Benefits
- Employee benefits administration.
- Health insurance portal update (For Joiner, Leaver, Changes and Dependent coverage).
- Download the invoice from the health insurance portal for payment submission.
- Payment classification by company cost centre.
- Car loan processing (approval, agreement and payment).
- Company Share Plan (Monthly Employee Share Plan to portal, quarterly vested share, Yearly Performance Share Plan).
- Verify and Approve Flexible Benefit claim via the Power App.
Immigration
- Work Permit application process to Malaysia Immigration (Point of contact for our appointed vendor).
HR Development Fund
- Human Resource Development Fund (HRDF) application in HRD Corp portal (application only. Documents will be provided by HR Business Partner).
HR Projects
- Involve and support the HR project.
- Yearly licensing renewal, connect with agent on the processing (documentation).
Qualifications And Skills
- Experience: 1-2 years in Payroll or HR Operations/Generalist or HR Admin experience.
- Basic knowledge of the Malaysia Employment Act, Labour Laws, and HR practices.
- Required skill(s): Workday, Microsoft Office, Excel, Accounting knowledge.
- You demonstrate positivity, initiative and a responsible personality and can work with minimum supervision.
- You have good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels.
