Job Description
Role Overview
The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for managing the entire recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and attracting candidates to coordinating interviews and transferring hires to the onboarding team. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong grasp of recruitment best practices. Working closely with the Recruitment Lead, the Recruitment Specialist ensures that StaffCo’s clients receive high-quality candidates aligned with their staffing requirements.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Candidate Sourcing & Attraction
- Source candidates through diverse channels, including job fairs, social media, networking events, and agency partnerships.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future recruitment needs.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to onboarding.
Screening & Selection
- Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Conduct initial screening interviews to assess candidates’ qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and clients for a smooth and efficient process.
Client Interaction
- Collaborate closely with StaffCo clients to understand their staffing needs and preferences.
- Provide regular updates to clients on recruitment progress and candidate statuses.
- Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and ensuring a positive experience.
Recruitment Process Management
- Oversee the recruitment process end-to-end, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all stages.
- Maintain accurate and current records of candidates, interviews, and placements in the applicant tracking system.
- Assist in offer negotiation and finalization in collaboration with the Recruitment Lead.
Continuous Improvement
- Offer feedback and recommendations to enhance recruitment processes and candidate experience.
- Participate in recruitment events, job fairs, and networking activities to promote StaffCo and attract top talent.
Experience & Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Proven experience as a Recruitment Specialist, Recruiter, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment processes, techniques, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client and candidate relationships.
- Understanding of labor laws and regulations relevant to recruitment and employment.
- Strong organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- HR Certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is preferred.
