Job Description

Job Summary:

 

AfriCred is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of University Relations to lead our efforts in expanding the adoption of AfriCred-Pay, a revolutionary platform that enables universities and colleges across the UK to collect tuition and application fees in GBP while students pay in their local currency in Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and nurturing relationships with higher education institutions, driving sales, and ensuring the seamless integration of our platform within these organizations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Strategic Sales & Business Development:

 

-Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to introduce and promote AfriCred-Pay to universities and colleges across the UK.
– Identify key decision-makers and stakeholders within educational institutions and present tailored solutions that align with their financial and operational goals.
– Lead negotiations, close deals, and ensure successful onboarding of new clients.

 

University & College Partnerships:

 

– Build and maintain strong relationships with university and college administrators, including finance departments, admissions offices, and international student services.
– Serve as the primary point of contact for universities, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
– Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless implementation and integration of the AfriCred-Pay platform.

– Strong understanding of the UK higher education landscape and the challenges faced by universities and colleges in managing international payments.
– Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
– Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
– Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Willingness to travel frequently across the UK to meet with clients.
