The company has a strong presence across Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, South Africa, and the UAE, with plans to expand to Morocco. AfriCred has disbursed over $6m in loans and facilitated 3000+ global admissions and $4m in fee transfers.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Social Media Manager at AfriCred. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for managing the company’s social media marketing, developing communication strategies, optimizing social media platforms, creating engaging content, and writing compelling copy. This role is located in Lagos, with flexibility for some remote work.

Qualifications

• Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in content strategy and writing
• Ability to create engaging content for social media platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in the fintech industry is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
