Scope of work: Contributing to the Calvert South segment of HS2 a part of EKFB structures team, focusing on the constructions of overbridges, underbridges, and associated highway works. Key responsibilities include: ● Station Road Overbridge: Overseeing the construction of the overbridge and its approaches. ● Edgcott Road: Managing the development of the road and its approaches. ● Adams Accommodation Underbridge: Supervising the building of the underbridge structure. ● Highways Works: Delivering tasks such as blacktop surfacing, engineering fill, installation of road barriers, street lighting, waterproofing, and traffic signage. Achievements: ● Producing construction documents such as constructability reports, work package plans, design briefs & ITPs ● Managing works in accordance with approved ITPs/ITCs to ensure quality compliance. ● producing technical sketches and models using design software. ● Coordinating with section engineers and foreman to arrange plant, labour, and materials for efficient project delivery. ● maintaining site and commercial records ● Undertaking frequent site inspections to monitor defects and reporting any changes. Project Value: Part of EKFB’s overall contract for an 80km section of HS2, valued at approximately £2.3 billion.

Executed ground stabilization to enhance soil strength and support railway infrastructure. ● Installed drainage systems to manage surface and subsurface water. ● Realigned and lowered the B4114 Birmingham Road to accommodate new railway structures. Achievements: ● Managed quality assurance documents, including ITPs and QRPs. ● Conducted risk assessments and ensured compliance with safety standards. ● Supervised site activities, addressing technical challenges and maintaining project timelines. Project Value: Contributed to works within a project valued at approximately £2.5 billion under BBV’s HS2 Lots N1 and N2 contracts.

Prepared accurate project cost estimates, schedules, and specifications. ● Assisted in the production of programmes, progress reports, resource plans, and cost plans ● Conducted site surveys, marking locations and supervising construction of multiple projects. ● Prepared risk assessments to support safe and stable construction sites. ● Prepared technical reports and arranged for survey or investigation work. ● Tested sites and materials to assess strength and quality.
