Experiences
Manage direct shipments of food products from India to Qatar and Saudi Arabia, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with GCC import regulations. Obtain FIRS (Food Import and Re-Export System) approvals from Dubai Municipality, including label approvals for imported food items. Prepare Purchase Orders (PO) and coordinate procurement activities for multiple product categories. Oversee international imports of water pump products from Italy and China via air and sea freight, ensuring cost-effective and efficient transportation. Supervise warehouse operations, including goods receiving, storage, and dispatch. Schedule deliveries to customers and maintain accurate inventory records. Manage food store operations in compliance with food safety regulations. Holder of PIC (Person In-Charge) Certificate for food safety management. Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs agents to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Responsible for planning, managing and coordinating all activities related to the sourcing, procurement, warehousing and distribution of materials (International/ Local clients) required for supporting company’s delivery operations. Responsible for negotiating for the best freight rates with local, and international forwarding companies to assign the Ocean/ Air /Land services. Responsible for the Entire Supply chain Process of international /Local Supply Orders. End to End Process Purchase to Distribution. Handle Letter of Credit(LC) for international and domestic orders. Meet with the sales Team on weekly basis and provide summary of detailed international/Local sales order progress reports and order analysis Report to the General Manager on weekly Basis. Tracking and analyzing procurement activities- Following up with the vendors/Suppliers in procuring Materials all over the world until those are successfully delivered to the customers with in the stipulated delivery time. Responsible for Export documentation and Evaluate/negotiate with the Freight Forwarder for the export shipments according to the shipment terms agreed (Export shipments to the international Distributors and General clients) Prepare Purchase Orders and to ensure timely delivery of goods opting the best incoterms and cost-efficient mode of transportation by considering the freight cost and transit time. Prepare Delivery Note,Invoice, Purchase order and Sales order. Handle end to end sub-contract orders, preparing Payment application and progressive invoice. Regular follow up with customer regarding payment or cheque copy to process the order.
STRATA MANUFACTURING PROJECT: Planning and managing logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services. Directing, optimizing and coordinating full order cycle. Once the shipment arrives, complete the booking process in the SAP ERP production system. Verify documents such as the Certificate of Conformity (COC) and Packing List against the purchase order requirements. Communicate with the supplier in case of any discrepancies such as short, excess, or incorrect deliveries, and resolve the issues promptly. Respond to inquiries and concerns regarding services, and escalate issues to the appropriate department when necessary. Address and resolve shipment and inventory-related issues efficiently. Conduct cycle counts and perform regular physical inventory checks to ensure accuracy. Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials.
